Cala Inn

Cala Inn Review

A street sign noting the distance to Galway is the first clue that you've entered an Irish pub. Renovated in 2013, the Cala Inn went from greasy pub grub to entrées like Colorado lamb burger topped with goat cheese and olive tapenade, and Guinness-sautéed mushrooms served over marble rye and smothered with vegetarian gravy. But it's still an entertaining place where diners and drinkers sit around wood tables inhaling pub fries and sampling among the 50 scotches on the shelf. If you're brave enough, down a "Nessie" shot—layered Midori and Bailey's with a floater of Jägermeister.
