Tabor Opera House

Fodor's Review:

The three-story Tabor Opera House opened in 1879, when it was proclaimed the "largest and best west of the Mississippi." It hosted luminaries such as Harry Houdini, John Philip Sousa, and Oscar Wilde. Shows on the current schedule, like Million Dollar Baby and A Portrait of Molly Brown, revisit the rags-to-riches characters of the Colorado golden days.

  • Cost: $5
  • Open: Memorial Day-Labor Day, Mon.-Sat. 10-5
