In this ski lodge dating from the 1800s, almost everything on the menu will melt in your mouth. The four-course, prix-fixe dinner is a favorite in the area for its American cuisine with a Colorado twist. The main course may be wood-grilled pork tenderloin, a roast pheasant with game sausage, or seafood fricassee with coconut and lime. The delicious homemade bread and soup are a meal in themselves. Adjourn to the cozy lounge for the decadent desserts and specialty coffees. The restaurant is open during ski season, typically late October through mid-April.

Ski Tip is a special place. My husband and I have been there several times. The meals are fabulous and each meal has such a personal touch to it. It is so cozy to sit by the fire and the desserts are to die for!
