  Beautiful setting, first class experience

  Vista Verde is in the luxury ranch category, which means that accommodations are very comfortable, food is gourmet and expertly prepared and there is a high staff to guest ratio which ensures a personalized experience. I have now stayed at Vista Verde three times and have loved it each time. They offer cabins and several rooms in the main lodge and I have had the experience of staying in both types of accommodations. The lodge rooms are spacious and are centrally located to everything. Cabins vary in size depending on the size of your party. The cabins have bedrooms with separate living rooms and each has its own hot tub on the porch, so that you may enjoy the view while soaking at any time of day or night. Both rooms and cabins are furnished with lodgepole pine furniture, much of which is made on the ranch.
  
  Included in your rate are 3 well prepared, nicely presented meals per day. Some examples of the types of options offered for various meals are: banana nut waffles, chocolate pancakes, cobb salad, jerked chicken, mushroom risotto, beef tenderloin, bison steak, fresh baked cookies, chocolate mousse, or maybe profiteroles. Also included in your rate, are all on-ranch activities which include horseback riding, skiing (classical cross country, skate skiing or back country), sledding and snowshoeing in the winter. Winter usually revolves around skiing and they have dedicated ski guides who will take you on some great ski trips—they will cater the trip to any level and make it as scenic or as challenging as you’d like. All levels of skier from beginner to expert will find something to suit them. Summer season generally focuses on horseback riding, fishing, hiking or biking. I have yet to visit in the summer season, but I’m sure it’s wonderful as well.
  
  I highly recommend a stay at Vista Verde Ranch. Each season they hire a wonderful, accommodating and friendly staff, who will do their best to make sure your vacation is everything you want it to be. What initially attracted me to Vista Verde was its range of activities offered, as well as its casual elegance. What keeps me coming back to Vista Verde, are these attributes plus it’s warm, friendly, energetic staff and their ability and willingness to cater to each individual’s desired activities and level of experience participating in these chosen activities. If you are looking for a vacation that will enable you to enjoy the outdoors, yet still enjoy all the comforts of home at the end of the day, then Vista Verde is the place for you.
