Sleepy Cat Lodge and Restaurant

Fodor's Review:

Beneath the massive exposed beam ceiling of this lodge, a cozy fireplace is flanked by the requisite trophies and bearskins mounted on the walls. Soup and salad bar accompany the filling dinners ($$—$$$) of ribs, huge cuts of steak, teriyaki chicken, and panfried trout. Rustic cabins are heated and have full kitchens and showers; some have fireplaces. There's a TV-viewing area in the lodge. Pros: nice rustic setting, fishing right out the front door. Con: 17-mi away from Meeker.
