Fodor's Expert Review K & C's Local Grill at Cedaredge Golf Club

This casual but elegant restaurant has a new name, owners, and menu, but fortunately, still makes its crisp-edged, personal-size, wood-fired pizzas. It's popular with golfers from the adjoining Cedaredge Golf Club, as well as visitors looking to fill up after a long day on the mesa. The rest of the menu features a handful of reasonably priced salads and just-made pastas. There's always a daily special for less than $9 (hope for the lightly sauced chicken piccata), ready to be paired with a bottle from the extensive wine list, and Friday night's seafood night usually features frogs' legs.
