Colorado National Monument

Colorado's version of red rock is nowhere more spectacularly on display than at Colorado National Monument. Created between 65 and 225 million years ago, the monument was designated in 1911 and has been popular with photographers, hikers, and those eager to drive its paved road, Rim Rock Drive, ever since.
