Fodor's Review

This lovely park, on the Jackson Gulch Reservoir, accesses Black Bear and Chicken Creek trails, a hiker's heaven. Yellow perch and rainbow trout are abundant in the reservoir, and if you're lucky you might catch a large brown trout. You can boat on the lake, but no wake is allowed and swimming is prohibited. The park is off County Road 42, about 23 miles southeast of Dolores.
