Fodor's Review

In the old San Juan County Jail, built in 1902 to house criminals as well as the sheriff and his family, this well-kept museum houses an assortment of mining memorabilia, minerals, and local artifacts, as well as a new, three-story mining heritage museum in the adjacent building.
