Blue Star

Blue Star Review

Perch on a high stool in the bar while enjoying tapas like flash-fried squid with sweet chili sauce or spanakopita primavera, or head to the simple and elegant dining room for a leisurely dinner. Influences drift around the globe, from Asia to the Mediterranean. It's a place frequented by everyone from blue-haired ladies to college students, so it's best to make a reservation. Blue Star offers half-price wine on Sunday, half-price martinis on Monday, and half-price imperial beers on Thurday.

Every time I go to Denver to visit my brother we go to the Garden of the Gods. We say that it's to get some hiking in and see the sites but it's really so we have an excuse to go to Blue Star. The food is phenomonal. We always get the cheese plate, which is out of this world. If you get the chance this is a must on your trip to the Springs. They are attached to a brewery so they have a huge selection of beer and I have never been disappointed.

The only minus that I would give the Blue Star is the parking. There are very few spaces but we've never had a problem finding parking.
