Fodor's Expert Review Tudor Rose

6720 County Rd. 104, Salida, Colorado, 81201, USA

Editor's Note: This location is reported to be under new ownership and therefore this review may contain inaccuracies.

With beautiful furnishings and an idyllic setting, this rustic mountain lodge sits on a 37-acre spread of pine forest and mountain ridges. The proprietors, Jon and Terré Terrell, redid the original private residence as a luxury mountain inn. An oak staircase overlooking the foyer below is the centerpiece, but the deck overlooking the nearby Mosquito Range is a close second. The rooms are individually decorated, and there are also five chalets near the house that accommodate up to six people each.
