The 1940s rooms are newly refurnished and have comfortable lodgepole beds, desks, and en-suite showers, although the trains passing nearby can be noisy. Room rates include unlimited use of the pools during your stay. You can soak or pamper yourself with a massage, wrap, facial, or salt glow. The premises have no restaurant, but a diner in town serves breakfast, and the Riverside Hotel occasionally serves dinner. Restaurants in Granby and Grand Lake are about 15 minutes and 30 minutes away respectively. Pros: clean lodging, quick access to hot pools and spa, close enough that a visit can be tacked onto an outdoor activity. Cons: trains passing through during the night are noisy, dining establishments can be 30 minutes away.
