Fodor's Review

Stop by the Junior Ranger Headquarters off Trail Ridge Road for ranger-led talks during the summer months. You can also pick up a Junior Ranger activity book (in English or Spanish) here or at any visitor center in the park. Program content has been developed for children ages 6 to 12; the material focuses on environmental education, identifying birds and wildlife, and outdoor safety skills. Once a child has completed all of the activities in the book, a ranger will look over his or her work and award a Junior Ranger badge.
