Lulu City Review

The remains of a few cabins are all that's left of this onetime silver mining town, established around 1880. Reach it by hiking the 3.6-mi Colorado River Trail. Look for wagon ruts from the old Stewart Toll Road and mine tailings in nearby Shipler Park (this is also a good place to spot moose). The Colorado River is a mere stream at this point, flowing south from its headwaters at nearby La Poudre Pass.
