Fodor's Review

Established in 1907—eight years before Rocky Mountain National Park—this 860-acre family-friendly property abuts the park and has an abundance of attractive, clean lodging options among its nine lodges and 217 cabins. Accommodations range from lodge rooms (with either queen, full, or bunk beds) and simple cabins for two to four people up to larger cabins that can sleep as many as 88 people. Cook in your cabin or sidle up to the all-you-can-eat buffet. On-campus activities are plentiful, including yoga classes, arts and crafts, ecology classes, mini golf, archery, climbing, and more. There's even a stable where you can sign up for a guided ride into the park.
