Fodor's Review

Built in 1872, Teller House was once one of the West's ritziest hotels. Its name came from Senator Henry Teller, the first U.S. Secretary of the Interior from Colorado. Adorning the floor of the famous Face Bar within the house is a portrait of a woman. Despite rumors about her identity, she is none other than the wife of the painter, Herndon Davis. He painted the portrait in 1936. Tours are available.
