Denverites have rated Highland Haven as "the top place to pop the question" and "the top mountain secret" in different issues of 5280, the main Denver magazine. Pros: ideally located for travelers who want to stay in a mountain town, but be 35 minutes from downtown Denver or Georgetown; quiet; you might even see a celebrity or two. Con: you'll have to stroll into Evergreen or drive for dinner.
