Wild Horse Inn Review

Tucked into the woods on the way to Devil's Thumb Ranch, this mountain retreat is a bit off the beaten path. Your reward, however, is complete relaxation. The lodge rooms, many with beamed ceilings and four-poster beds, have private balconies overlooking the forest; breakfast—perhaps peach-and-pecan pancakes or an apple, bacon, and Brie frittata—is served in the handsome lodge or in bed. The secluded cabins—stylish, not rustic—have a fireplace and small kitchenette.
