South of Georgetown, the Guanella Pass Scenic Byway treats you to marvelous views of the Mount Evans Wilderness Area. The road over the pass has a lot of hairpin turns. Make sure to park at Georgetown Lake, where you can catch a glimpse of the state's largest herd of rare bighorn sheep.
