Within sight of Indian Springs Resort is a 600-foot waterfall, Bridal Veil Falls. The imposing Charlie Tayler Water Wheel—the largest in the state—was constructed in the 1890s by a miner who attributed his strong constitution to the fact that he never shaved, took baths, or kissed women.
