Fodor's Expert Review Interpretive Programs

Family-friendly nature walks designed to help visitors learn more about the Great Sand Dunes National Park are scheduled most days from late May through September, and sporadically in April and October. Call or drop in to ask about sunset walks, afternoon weekend tours, and evening stargazing programs. The Junior Ranger program is a favorite for children ages 3 to 12, who can earn their badge by completing a booklet of activities.
