If you are traveling with a laptop, you'll find that although most local coffee shops do offer wireless Internet, they come and go, so it's hard to rely on any particular one for Internet. The chain coffee shops are the most reliable hot spots. Most Denver hotels have Wi-Fi or ethernet, and many restaurants are offering it as well. Municipal public libraries also provide free Internet and Wi-Fi to patrons, although a couple limit your time on the computer.
