Julia Blackbird herself cooks the food at this tiny eatery that specializes in cooking from northern New Mexico. The narrow space feels like Blackbird's home, but her staff is so welcoming you'd think it was theirs, too. Baked goods are made from blue corn, stews of hominy and beans abound, and the chiles are stuffed with goat cheese and smothered in a thick, spicy sauce. Fabulous margaritas, beer, and wine complement the meals.
