Westin Denver Downtown Review

This sleek, luxurious high-rise opens right onto the 16th Street Mall and all the downtown action. Rooms are oversize and done in grays and taupes, with white duvets, piles of cushy pillows, and contemporary prints on the walls. The fourth-floor pool has one of the best views of the Rockies in all of downtown. The hotel buys blocks of tickets for weekend shows at the Denver Performing Arts Complex for guests' exclusive use. The Palm ($$$), a branch of the Manhattan-based steak house, is a favorite eating and drinking spot for local luminaries, and there's a Starbucks on-site.

    A wonderful experience

My family and I were supposed to stay the night at the historic Stanley Hotel in Estes Park for the night, but things didn't work out, so we booked a room at the Westin Tabor; and boy, are we glad we did. The hotel and the view from out room gave us a wonderful urban feeling, especially the rooftop pool on the fourth floor. It had crazy views of downtown and the Rockies. The room was spacious and contemporary. The location is unbeatable, located right on the 16th street mall. Would we stay here again?, absolutely.
