Cork House Wine Restaurant Review

Two veteran Denver restaurateurs took over the beloved, 30-year-old Tante Louise and turned it into a popular small-plate place (they also serve plenty of large plates, too, with a focus on steaks), gently renovating it into a slightly-more-contemporary space that invites snacking with a glass of wine from the lengthy, well-priced roster. The wine bar offers 25 to 30 cheeses a night, with fresh breads, pâtés, and other appetizers, and the staff is adept at matching the international vino with the eclectic victuals.

    Keeps getting better...

Each time we've come to Cork House, each aspect of our visit has improved. Only the service has been uneven. Three out of four times it has been superb -- knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, prompt; once it was slow.
We recommend the wine flight/cheese pairings; the heirloom tomato/crabcake towers, the apple/brie quesadilla, the tuna... nearly everything has been good. We weren't crazy about the creme brulee either. We have been trying to give it a chance, and our patience seems to be paying off.

Very slow service. Wine was excellent but took forever to arrive. Came for dinner but we received the wine so late we decided to leave and go somewhere else. Checked this place out despite bad reviews below - my conclusion is the bad reviews were correct. Won't be returning here due to unprofessional management.
