Julia Blackbird herself cooks the food at this tiny eatery that specializes in cooking from northern New Mexico. The narrow space feels like Blackbird's home, and her staff is so welcoming you'd think it was theirs, too. Baked goods are made from blue corn, stews of hominy and beans abound, and the chilies are stuffed with goat cheese and smothered in a thick, chili-spiked sauce. Fabulous margaritas, beer, and wine complement the meals.
