Ramada Denver Downtown

  • Very reasonable rates
  • Easy to get downtown

  • Not the safest part of Colfax Avenue late at night
  • Can be noisy

Fodor's Review

This Ramada is within walking distance of the capitol, as well as nine blocks east of downtown and the 16th Street Mall. A Southwestern flair pervades the leather couch–dominated Western-style lobby and lounge area. The somewhat dated but reasonably spacious rooms have dark carpeting and beige, red, and rose colors. There's also a pool and a small but serviceable fitness center.

Mile-high courtesy

The management at the Capitol Hill Ramada bent over backwards to tailor their services to our needs. They even adjusted our rate based on the fact that we were only staying a few hours. Free high-speed Internet further sweetened the deal. Perhaps the most valuable service we enjoyed during our brief stay was the courtesy shuttle. Once again, management was on the ball, making sure we arrived and departed on a convenient schedule.
