The Denver Marriott is definitely geared toward the business traveler; it's a three-block walk to the Denver Convention Complex and has 25,000 square feet of meeting space of its own. Rooms are small but classy, with a strong "executive" look (many stripes, much leather). The cozy, fall-color Great Divide Lounge and the savvy American fare at Allies American Grille are worthwhile whether you have an expense account or not. The on-site, full-service City Spa offers massages and facial treatments. Pros: reasonable rates for location, nice gym and pool. Con: not much maneuvering space in the rooms.
