The 12-story steel-and-black-glass facade conceals the unexpected and delightful Italian baroque motif within; spacious rooms are done in earth tones and blond wood and garnished with fresh flowers, fruit baskets, and Renaissance-style portraits. The formal Tuscany restaurant ($$$) serves sumptuous Italian cuisine. Use of a nearby health club and a continental breakfast are included. If downtown or the Denver Tech Center are your primary destinations, this location is
a drawback, but Cherry Creek fans will find its proximity a plus.

Although the location is in the Cherry Creek district and not down on the 16th Street Mall, this hotel is the best kept secret of Denver. Well kept, professional, and very high end.
