Cherry Creek

Fodor's Review:

In a pleasant, predominantly residential neighborhood 2 mi from downtown, the Cherry Creek shopping district has retail blocks and an enclosed mall. At Milwaukee Street, the granite-and-glass behemoth Cherry Creek Shopping Mall (3000 E. 1st Ave., Cherry Creek. 303/388-3900) holds some of the nation's top retailers. Its 160 stores include Abercrombie & Fitch, Eddie Bauer, Banana Republic, Burberry's, Tiffany & Co., Macy's, Nordstrom, Louis Vuitton, Neiman Marcus, Polo-Ralph Lauren, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Just north of the Cherry Creek Shopping Mall is the district Cherry Creek North (Between 1st and 3rd Aves. from University Blvd. to Steele St., Cherry Creek. 303/394-2904), an open-air development of tree-lined streets and shady plazas, with art galleries, specialty shops, and fashionable restaurants.
