Friday's Denver Post (www.denverpost.com) publishes a calendar of the week's events, as does the slightly alternative Westword (www.westword.com), which is free and published on Thursday. Downtown and LoDo are where most Denverites go at night. Downtown has more mainstream entertainment, whereas LoDo is home to fun, funky rock clubs and small theaters. Remember that Denver's altitude can intensify your reaction to alcohol.
