Denver Approves Marijuana Use in Bars and Restaurants

Pot

Proposition 300 passed in in Denver last Tuesday, permitting bar and restaurant owners in the city to allow patrons to use marijuana. While smoking of any sort is still not permitted indoors, the local ordinance allows patrons to bring and use pot on the premises, with the potential opportunity for outside smoking areas.

The law is the first of its kind in the nation.
