Water Sports in Denver

Chatfield and Cherry Creek marinas rent sailboats, powerboats, and Jet Skis (April-October at Cherry Creek and Memorial Day-Labor Day at Chatfield). Chatfield Marina (Chatfield State Park, Littleton. www.parks.state.co.us. 303/791-5555) is on the fringes of the Rocky Mountains 15 mi south of downtown and attracts wakeboarders, water-skiers, and tubers. Southeast of Denver, the Cherry Creek Marina (Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora. 303/779-6144) serves the 850-acre reservoir of the same name, a sailing hot spot.
