This humble log cabin on the dirt road going through the former mining town of Gold Hill hardly looks like a bastion of haute cuisine, but the six-course, $31 prix-fixe dinner is something to rave about. Entrées may include roast duck with raspberry sauce or leg of lamb marinated for four days in buttermilk, juniper berries, and cloves. The inn also hosts occasional "murder mystery" nights with professional actors.
