After work, when all of Boulder shows up to enjoy tapas, "the Med" becomes a real scene. If the crowd gets to be too much, try a table on the patio. The decor is Portofino meets Santa Fe, with abstract art, terra-cotta floors, and brightly colored tile. The open kitchen turns out daily specials such as pork saltimbocca, halibut puttanesca, and horseradish-crusted tuna -- dishes complemented by an extensive, well-priced wine list.

Top off the Tapas with a Sangria

Tapas, tapas, tapas. Go there for the tapas. The rest of their menu is excellent and a great value. You will not be able to top their calamari in Colorado! The Moroccan riblets are divine - get 3 orders and you've got dinner. The wait staff is generally excellent. This is our "no fail" choice in Boulder.

The "Med" has been around for years. Wonderful food! Always crowded and ALWAYS NOISY! You have to shout to be heard by the person sitting next to you.
