Kelly Dahl Campground Review

Within the Roosevelt National Forest at an elevation of 8,600 feet, this campground is 4 mi south of Nederland and close to limited-stakes gambling in Central City and Black Hawk. It's also near the Rollins Pass Railroad Grade and the Boulder Wagon Road, two rough gravel roads with great scenery and heart-stopping precipices. All sites accommodate RVs, tents, campers, or trailers. The maximum vehicle length is 40 feet. There are no hookups, dump stations, or showers. Pros: quiet area, mountain views. Con: 40-minute drive to Boulder.
