Environmental Learning Center

Fodor's Review:

CSU's Environmental Learning Center is a 1.2-mi trail loop within a 200-acre nature preserve. The raptor cages and the walk-through wetland animal habitat are an excellent educational family activity, and fun for anyone curious about animal habitats. Staff conduct special walks like the full-moon hike. The learning center loop is 1 mi east of the Timberline and Drake Road intersection, on Drake Road.

  • Cost: Free
  • Open: Information center mid-May-Aug., daily 10-5; Sept.-Apr., weekends 10-5. Learning Center year-round, daily dawn-dusk
