Fiske Planetarium/Sommers-Bausch Observatory

Fodor's Review:

Star shows and laser shows set to classic compositions like Peter and the Wolf or the music of well-known rock bands entertain at the university's Fiske Planetarium/Sommers-Bausch Observatory. During the academic year, shows begin Friday at 9:30 PM. "Star Talks" are at 8 PM on Thursday and Friday. Matinees take place in summer on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10 AM and 1 PM.

  • Cost: Laser shows and matinees $5; Star Talks $6; observatory free
  • Open: Planetarium, year-round, days vary. Observatory, Fri. 9 PM-11 PM. Closed on university holidays
