Sherpa's Adventurers Restaurant & Bar

Sherpa's Adventurers Restaurant & Bar Review

A favorite of Boulder's many health-conscious athletes, as well as world travelers, Sherpa's is owned and run by actual sherpas from the Himalayas. Owner Pemba Sherpa also offers guiding services in Nepal, and the restaurant's cozy lounge is both a bar and a travel library. Service is some of the friendliest in town, but the pacing, much like a trek up Everest, is at times woefully slow. Order the saag dip ($5) as soon as you sit down, a creamy garlic, cumin, ginger, and spinach dip served with warm naan bread. The voluminous menu has all the Nepalese, Indian, and Tibetan favorites you'd expect like curry and tandoori chicken. Don't be afraid to try the yak, it's delicious.
