Hotel Boulderado Review

The gracious lobby of this elegant 1909 beauty has a soaring stained-glass ceiling, and the mezzanine beckons with romantic nooks galore. When choosing a room, opt for the old building, with spacious quarters filled with period antiques and reproductions. The new wing is plush and comfortable but has less Victorian character. Rooms with mountain views are available on request. The hotel has two restaurants: Q's ($$$$) offers upscale dining, while the Corner Bar ($-$$) serves less formal lunch and dinner. Downstairs, the Catacombs Blues Bar is always hopping, and has live music three nights a week. Guests have access to the nearby health club, One Boulder Fitness.

    Grand old hotel

The Hotel Boulderado could not be better located in downtown Boulder. It has plenty of historic charm, personalized service and large rooms. It just a much nicer experience than going to one of the larger homogenized chains.
