St. Julien Hotel & Spa Review

Unwind in the indulgent luxury of this classy yet casual hotel. The Colorado red-sandstone structure has walnut floors, marble staircases, and a golden onyx bar. Most rooms have stunning mountain views, and all have custom-made beds with European pillow tops and duvets, photographs by local artists, and oversize slate bathrooms with soaking tubs and seamless walk-in showers. The hotel is downtown, minutes on foot from the Boulder Creek Path.

    Close to everything with a great indoor pool

    I stayed at the St. Julien for three nights in July 2012. It is ideally located for exploring Boulder on foot and a dozen great restaurants are within a ten minute walk. The room was lovely (down pillows!)and would have had four stars except for the sharp corners on the bed that jumped out and banged into my legs at least three painful times. The indoor pool in the spa is wonderful for lap swimming after a hot day of adventuring. I would definitely enjoy coming back.
