Glacier Lodge Review

Families are the specialty at this secluded, 19-acre guest resort on the banks of the Big Thompson River. The kids will take home plenty of fun memories from the twice-weekly "soda saloons," nature walks, arts-and-crafts workshops, and campfires. The whole family will enjoy the once-weekly "mountain breakfast" with omelets and flapjacks before a guided trail ride, some into the national park. You can stay in former Colorado governor (in office 1902-04) James Peabody's summer residence. There's a minimum stay of four nights. All linens and kitchen utensils and dinnerware are provided.

    Hotel Details

  • 24 single-family cabins, 4 cabins for 12--30.
  • Credit cards accepted.
