Sweet Basilico

Sweet Basilico Review

This family-owned and family-friendly restaurant is a local favorite for basic Italian classics like lasagna, manicotti, and eggplant Parmesan, as well as home-style entrées like the savory and spicy chicken scarpelli. The calamari fritti are crisp and spicy, sandwiches made with homemade focaccia are delicious, and the minestrone satisfies wonderfully. Enjoy dinner alfresco on the large covered patio or in the well-lighted, brick-wall dining room accented with photos of Italian scenery. Don't forget the spumoni cheesecake with mascarpone frosting for dessert.
