Fodor's Review

This family-owned and family-friendly restaurant is a local favorite for basic Italian classics like lasagna, manicotti, and eggplant Parmesan, as well as home-style entrées like the savory and spicy chicken scarpelli. The calamari fritti are crisp and spicy, sandwiches made with homemade focaccia are delicious, and the minestrone satisfies. Enjoy dinner alfresco on the large covered patio or in the well-lighted, brick-wall dining room accented with photos of Italian

scenery. Don't forget the spumoni cheesecake with mascarpone frosting for dessert.

Sweet Basilico owner a true chef !!!

I have lived in Estes Park for the past 12 years and this is by far the best restaurant in the area! It doesn't get any better than this. I recommend the chicken marsala. It is listed first on the menu. We have searched far and wide for a better chicken marsala but it can't be found! If you only have time to eat once in Estes Park, make it Sweet Basilico.

Cozy with Great Homemade Italian Food

My husband and I ate here while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and were pleasantly surprised! The pizza and pasta we had were both excellent. The pizza had a crisp home-made crust and the sauce was flavorful and stood-up to the spicy sausage. The pasta was perfectly tender and was complemented with a creamy carbonara sauce. The location was small but they are moving to a larger space soon. The service was friendly and quick without being

overbearing. Would definitely return!

Very cute with average food

Great atmosphere. Packed to the rafters. Main courses come with a starter of salad or soup. Soup was well made minestorne. Big problem with places serving pasta is they precook it and then dip it back into hot water. All makes for soggy poor pasta. It's certainly cheap. 2 course meal about $10 to $15 plus drinks and tip. Friendly service. It's sort of reasonable "fill a hole" type food. You come away thinking that with such a warm atmosphere if they

put more care into the food it could be really good. Sadly all the places we ate near Estes Park the food left us shaking our heads!
