Colorado Music Festival
Colorado Music Festival Review
Between late June and early August, the Colorado Music Festival brings classical music to Chautauqua Auditorium. Since the festival began in 1976, visiting artists have included the Santa Fe Guitar Quartet and the Takács Quartet, as well as plenty of international talent such as William Barton, a didgeridoo performer from Australia, and Lynn Harrell, who plays a 1673 Stradivarius. Evening meals are available in the dining hall, or you can pack a picnic and settle in on the Green to take in views of the mountains before the concert.
