Boulder and North Central Colorado Sights

Leanin' Tree Museum of Western Art

Updated 10/01/2013

Fodor's Review

One of the country's largest privately owned collections of post-1950 cowboy and Western art includes more than 250 paintings of Western landscapes, wildlife, and the pioneers' ranch life, and 150 bronze sculptures by renowned, contemporary artists such as Bill Hughes and Frank McCarthy. These works recall an era in the Boulder Valley before lattes and snowboards.
