If you're not sure which beer suits you, head downstairs to the tasting area to sample a couple of brews. There is plenty on tap, but take in the region's "Shining" heritage via the Redrum Ale. The Staggering Elk, a crisp lager, and the Estes Park Gold ale come highly recommended. The food is no-frills (beer chili is the specialty here), and the menu includes pizza, burgers, sandwiches, and chicken or steak dinners. If you're visiting in June, call ahead and ask about the popular Rocky Mountain Brew Fest.
