Fodor's Review

Live out your cowboy dreams at this real-deal working ranch, where guests stay in charming rustic log cabins or bunkhouse rooms. During the day, they saddle up to help with daily chores, like driving cattle, roping, branding, and cutting. Rooms are appointed with Western decor, log beds, and cozy down comforters. Guests share ranch-style meals and hang out around the campfire after work. The cattle company has 800 head of cattle and 10,000 acres of land in the canyons and plains of northeast Colorado. Prices include lodging, meals, and activities. Most folks stay for a six-day "adventure week," starting on Sunday ($2,199), although a three-day is possible for half the price.
