Snowshoeing

Winter sports in Colorado are not limited to skiing and snowboarding. You can strap on a pair of snowshoes and tramp along many trails you would walk in summer, taking in stunning views and getting a fair amount of exercise, too. Don’t forget the sunscreen—at this altitude, you can sunburn quickly, even in winter. Dressing in layers is also imperative, as temperatures and weather conditions can fluctuate dramatically throughout the day.
