Fodor's Review

The focus of this 337-acre park is Crawford Reservoir, created in 1963 when a dam was built to increase the supply of irrigated water to the surrounding ranches and farms. Boating and waterskiing are permitted on the reservoir, as are swimming and fishing (the lake is stocked with rainbow trout). The park has a 1-mile wheelchair-accessible hiking trail along with the primitive ½-mile Indian Fire Nature Trail, which runs along the reservoir on the park's west side.
