Little Nell Review

Right at the base of the gondola, this hotel is the only true ski-in ski-out property in town. Belgian wool carpets and overstuffed couches distinguish the lobby. The luxurious rooms have fireplaces, beds piled with down comforters, and large marble baths. Equally superior is the professional staff, whose training differentiates them from the seasonal workers at other hotels. Element 47 serves Colorado-focused but globally inspired cuisine, and Ajax Tavern has classy pub food. In summer the most sought-after tables are on the patio, with views of Aspen Mountain; even your dog can enjoy a fine meal from a special menu. The bar hosts the town's most fashionable apres-ski scenes.

2010 Fodor's 100 Hotel Award Winner

This beautiful mountain resort in Aspen, Colorado, is the ideal spot for those looking to ski and be spoiled. Guests hitting the slopes rave about the special ski concierge who handles everything—tuning up gear, warming boots, buying lift tickets, and providing ski and snowboard storage. For those less athletically inclined, the attentive hotel concierge arranges restaurant reservations and spa treatments.
